Reflection: This statement means that we need to better ourselves. This means we need to make ourselves better and not worry about anyone else but ourselves.

Allopathic physician (M.D.)

Duties and responsibilities: they treat and help the diseased. With medicine that they prescribe. They also study different medicine so they know which one works better with a certain disease.

Salary: $150,000-$300,000

Education: three years of college, bachelor’s degree, advanced degrees, 10-15 years of school

Reflection: I think this quote means that money doesn’t mean anything. What counts is what you have inside. He was trying to say that we don’t need money because we already have something special inside of us as a person. We all have something different and that something different are what making us wealthy and special.

Duties and responsibilities: A physician who is specially trained to diagnose, treat, and manage allergies and asthma.

Education: bachelor’s degree, nine years of training beyond a bachelor’s degree, completing medical school with a medical degree, three years of training in internal medicine, pass the exam of either the American  Board of Internal Medicine or the American Board of pediatrics

     Ophthalmologist

Duties and responsibilities:

Ophthalmologists are physicians who specialize in the treatment of eye disorders and diseases. They treat vision problems and write prescriptions for both pharmaceuticals and corrective eyeglass lenses. When necessary, they perform eye surgery. Most ophthalmologist are in private practice, however some are employed by hospitals or clinics, and others perform research.

Average salary: $90,000-$150,000

Educational Requirements:

Only physicians may study to become ophthalmologist. After completing medical school and an internship, an ophthalmologist must then complete a three to five year residency in an approved ophthalmologist program. After completing their residency program. After completing their residency program they must pass an examination to be certified.

Reflection: I think that being an ophthalmologist would be a very good job. I would like to be an ophthalmologist some day because I do need glasses and I would like to help other people who also have bad eyesight.
