Student success statement
“In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing.”
Theodore Roosevelt

Reflection: this is very true because if you do the right then only good things would come to you. If you don’t know what to do during that decision then chances are you are going to choose the wrong because if you knew what to do during that decision then you wouldn't have trouble and you would choose the right. No matter what is going on always go for the right thing because then nothing bad will happen to you. For example if you broke a window by accident be straight forward and say you broke it. Then sooner or later that lie that you told while choosing the wrong will come back to you and it is not going to feel good.
Life Planning Progress Post

I read my life planning book every day for an hour. I enjoy reading my life planning book because those are things that I will achieve one day. Today I did have my life planning book like I do every day. My plans for this life planning book are to write down as many goals as possible and accomplish every single one of them. I will go through anything and work hard so that I have many accomplished goals from my book. So far I have only written 115 sadly but I plan to write so much more. From my 115 goals I have accomplished 25. The reason I have only accomplished so little is because most are my goals are in the future that I can’t do now. My plan is to write more short term goals that way I can accomplish them sooner instead of later and have more victories in my book. I am very proud of how many goals I have written down but I wish I could accomplish more goals in the near future. One special goal that I have written in my book is to become a CTR person and I am trying to do this with little baby steps that I am starting to take. Some of my goals are silly but most are very serious and require lots of courage, stability, and confidence. I know one day I will have 500 goals in my book and 400 of them will be accomplish before I pass on to the heavens.
Medical Surveillance Technician
Duties and Responsibilities: this job is very important and takes up high level intelligence. Basically what you do in this job is make sure medicine gets from one place to another properly. The reason it’s important and dangerous is because you deal mostly with very dangerous drugs.  The drugs can vary depending on where they are going and who needs them. If this job is not done properly then everything that can go wrong will go wrong. For the fact these dangerous medicines can get into the wrong hands and be sold illegally and this could cause the death of many people.
Salary: $39,000-$50,000
Education: this requires many years of education. The very first thing you need and which is a very obvious is a high school diploma. Then you would need lots of training from different programs. You will also a four year college which is a master’s degree.

Reflection: I would not like to become a medical surveillance technician because it will bore me. Also because this is not what I would like to do for the rest of my life. another thing is that I would want be stuck with so much responsibility.

A doctor that helps

Dr. Bob is a doctor that only helps and does nothing more. What Dr. Bob does is well clearly he is a doctor. He lives in a terrible neighborhood where no one dares to leave there stuff outside at all. He invites people with care and happiness to his home so they can get a check up to see if anything is wrong with them. He charges no money at all it’s just his love and care that he has. All the money he does earn is donations from anyone who give it to him. Normally he doesn’t keep the donations to himself instead he gets the money and spends it on his costumers to make them happy. He is a very great man and he will go to heaven because he does so much good.
Student success statement
“Make each day your masterpiece. You have to apply yourself each day to become a little better, and over a period of time you become a lot better.”
John Wooden, UCLA
Reflection: I agree with this quote, you have to make your life better every day no matter what is going on. The reason for this is because you have to live life to your fullest and the only way to do that is to not let anything get in your way. You have to say wow I had a great day yesterday every day you need to repeat that and if you didn't one day make up for it the next day.

The reason I like this job is because it is interesting and I would be able to give people a big, bright, and perfect smile.

Western Oregon VS. Central Washington

Here we saw the most incredible thing ever. We saw two girls named Liz and Mallory help an injured girl named Sara from the opposite team make her first home run. Let me tell you with a summary. This girl named Sara had never made a home run ever of all her days playing Softball. One day they were playing against Central Washington and she was going to make her first home run all she had to do is run all around the bases. As she run to first base she hurt herself really badly on her right foot. She crawled to first place but it hurt so much that she couldn't move at all once she reached the first base. Then everyone got stuck they couldn't believe what they has seen. The couch of Western Oregon asked the empire if she could help her but it would cost her some points. So the couch stayed put in shocked. Then a girl from the opposite team asked the empire if she could carry Sara all around the base to make a home run and the empire said yes. This girl’s name was Mallory after Mallory went to help another girl named Liz also came to help. Everyone in the crowd was happy with tears of joy. This was a very memorable day. While Mallory and Liz were carrying her around they told her, “you hit the ball over the fence you deserve this home run.” And with this we end our story of how good people in this world are.

Do the right thing at the right time
“It’s a great moment when someone has character to step up and do the right thing at the right time.”
Pam Knox

Reflection: this is very true. I agree because when you do the right thing then you are choosing the right. When you chose the right then you get good things in return and only good things. This is why you always have to do the right thing and never the wrong thing. When you did the wrong thing cover it by doing the right thing and admitting that you did the wrong thing. This will help people forgive you more and you will feel better.
Medical Illustrator
Duties and responsibilities: A medical illustrator must be able to translate complex medical and biological information into captivating images. Medical illustrators must be able to use their skills, knowledge and competencies to create image with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. A career as a medical illustrator is a great fir for those who have a genuine interest in illustration, biology, science and medicine.
Salary: The median salary for a medical illustrator or medical animator is $62,000 and can range up to $100,000. Those in supervisory and creative director positions earn a median of $85,000 and up to $175,000.
Education: The majority of medical illustrators in the profession have a master's degree from an accredited two-year graduate program in medical illustration. There are currently three programs in the United States and one in Canada that are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). Each program accepts 16 or fewer students each year, so entrance into the schools is very competitive. Course work varies somewhat from program to program, but all include an advanced course in human anatomy with dissection and may include a combination of other bio-medical science courses such as pathology, micro-anatomy, physiology, embryology, and neuroanatomy, along with specialized applied art courses such as surgical illustration. Other classes may include color theory, instructional design, photography, interactive media development, 3-D modeling and web design, along with traditional drawing and computer applications. Most programs require master's thesis or research projects and may have optional courses available in specialty fields such as advanced computer and video graphics, endoscopic illustration, or patient prosthetic.

Reflection: I would not like to be a medical illustrator because it does not fit what I am looking for in a career. The career I choose that fits me is a culinary artist. This job really isn't for me. The reasons it is not for me is because I don’t know how to draw with great detail, it wouldn't be interesting for me, and I would want to enjoy my job and not be bored. Although, I do know someone who might want to follow this career path. Her name is Selene and she is one of my best friends. She is a very good drawer and could defiantly succeed in this job and win lots money.

The 10 Indian commandments
1.     Treat the Earth And all that Dwells Therein With respect.
This means to not trash earth and take care of it because it’s the only one you have. Also respect the ones you live with on planet earth. All the humans around you treat them with respect and they shall treat you the same way. If someone starts the chain of respect then it will go on and everyone will respect everything and everyone that surrounds them.
2.     Remain Close To the Great Spirit.
This means to keep god with you. That your beliefs come before anything. The one that created you comes before video games, comics, and even books. You should always. Never stop loving the god you believe in.
3.     Show great respect to fellow beings.
As the first one respects those around you. Give them what is necessary and never reject them. They can go far with just a little help if. Everyone has an equal chance and some just need a little help getting there.
4.     Work together for the benefit of all mankind.
Work together with everyone. One person can’t do the job of a million. If you let people in then they can get the job get done faster and easier. You will never be able to do build a house all on your own.
5.     Give assistance and kindness wherever needed.
If someone needs help then help them. You never know what they might be going through. Help those in need like the homeless, the needy, and the cold. You would like someone to help you just like you should help people as well.
6.     Do what you know to be right.
Don’t do wrong and always do right. If you do wrong bad things will come to you. Follow your heart and do what is right and not what is wrong. Follow people who only do the right thing not the people who do wrong things.
7.     Look after the well-being of mind and body.
As you are doing this think about yourself as well. Take care of your body and never do drugs because that is something that affects your body in a negative way.
8.     Dedicate a share of your efforts to the greater good.
Don’t only think about yourself. Help others as well. Make it beneficial for the public and people around you. Make sure to help others whenever you could.
9.     Be truthful and honest at all times.
Never lie because that is going down to the negative side. Always tell the truth even if you did something bad. Tell the truth all the time if you tell the truth then everything will be ok even if you did something wrong.
10.                        Take full responsibility for your actions.
If you did something wrong then stand up for it. If you were brave enough to do that bad thing then are brave enough to stand up for it.

Student Success Statement
“A promise must never be broken.”
Alexander Hamilton

Reflection: This couldn't be any truer. I really dislike people who break promises. The reason is because why would you make a promise in the first place if you aren't going to keep it. Why, this is what I don’t understand why would you do it? If you aren't going to keep your promise don’t make it at all. Why give false hopes to someone if you know it’s not true. Especially if you don’t care because it’s pretty obvious if you cared for that person then you would keep your promise. So if you don’t care for that person, if that person means nothing to you why give them false hopes by making a promise to them it really makes no sense at all. You should really committee to your promises if you’re going to make them. Even if you can’t make that promise true right away then try. You don’t have to make it true right away what counts is if you make it happen it doesn't matter at what time just make it happen. Don’t say that you’re going to make it happen if you really aren't because that would be breaking your promise. Remember its best to make it happen late then to break it.
Medical Assistant
Duties and responsibilities: Medical assistants typically do the following: Take and record patient, history and personal information, Measure vital signs, Help the physician with patient examinations, Give patients injections as directed by the physician, Schedule patient appointments, and Prepare blood for laboratory tests. Medical assistants take and record patients’ personal information. They must be able to keep that information confidential and discuss it only with other medical personnel who are involved in treating the patient. Electronic health records (EHRs) are changing medical assistants' jobs. More and more physicians are adopting EHRs, moving all their patient information online. Assistants need to learn the EHR software that their office uses. Medical assistants should not be confused with physician assistants, who examine, diagnose, and treat patients under a physician's supervision. In larger practices or hospitals, medical assistants may specialize in either administrative or clinical work.
Salary: The median annual wage for medical assistants was $29,370 in May 2012. The median wage is the wage at which half the workers in an occupation earned more than that amount and half earned less. The lowest 10 percent earned less than $21,080, and the top 10 percent earned more than $41,570.
Education: High school students interested in a career as a medical assistant should take courses in biology, chemistry, and anatomy. Medical assistants typically graduate from post-secondary education programs, and employers may prefer to hire assistants who have completed these programs. Programs for medical assisting are available from community colleges, vocational schools, technical schools, and universities and take about 1 year to complete. These programs usually lead to a certificate or diploma. Some community and junior colleges offer 2-year programs that lead to an associate’s degree. All programs have classroom and laboratory portions that include lessons in anatomy and medical terminology. Some medical assistants have a high school diploma or equivalent and learn their duties on the job. There are no formal educational requirements for becoming a medical assistant in most states. Some states require assistants to graduate from an accredited program, pass an exam, or both to do advanced tasks, such as taking x rays and giving injections.

Reflection: I would not like to be a medical assistant because it wouldn't suit me as a career. For the reason that I wouldn't like it and it would not be something enjoyable for me I like to help people but not as in assistant. I like more of the hands on as in like a surgeon or dentist something like this would fall into one of the medical careers I would like. I would enjoy this more because I like to physically help that person not just take measurements or a pulse because to me that is not really helping it’s more of just analyzing and that sounds boring to me. I would like more action if I were to choose a medical career.

Student Success Statement
Visualization-Imagination
“What you see is what you get”
Anonymous
Reflection: This saying is very strong and people should do this more often. What this is telling you is to see your future and accomplish it. If you see yourself getting into a university then you will do it. The reason for seeing yourself this way is because you will start to accomplish it taking little steps. For example if I say that I want to become a culinary artist then I will accomplish this. The reason is because I will start to take those steps towards becoming a culinary artist and I will become a culinary artist. I will accomplish my goals and dream and take those steps without even knowing because that’s who I want to be and you can do it to. If you really want to become what you say then you will become it because you really want it.
Professional soccer player
Duties and Responsibilities: A professional soccer does the following: Play for a team, represent that team, and have fame which isn't
really important but they have fame. Also soccer players think quickly, swiftly, are fast, build up to higher teams, train physically, and work on team skills. Your day-to-day activities would vary depending on the level of your team, but at all levels you would: play in matches against other teams in your league, attend regular training sessions to improve your skills and general fitness, work on tactics, sometimes watching videos of matches to analyze your strengths and weaknesses, work with specialists such as physiotherapists, sports psychologists, coaches and your team manager, and take advice on diet and lifestyle from nutritionists and doctors. As a top player you may also give media interviews and be paid to promote products by appearing in adverts. At all levels, you might take part in work in the community, such as helping to coach local children and attending charity events.
Salary: Professional soccer players can earn from $25,000-$100,000. It really depends on their ranking, what team they are in, how they play, if they stay in the same condition, and if they stay in the peak level of their performance.
Education: At an Academy or CoE, you would combine football training with general education. This could eventually lead to taking qualifications up to A level standard or equivalent. If you are age 16 to 18, you may be able to train on the Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence (AASE) scheme. You would work towards the Level 3 (NVQ) Diploma in Achieving Excellence in Sports Performance. Throughout your career as a footballer you would need to follow a strict training regime to keep up your skills and general fitness. The average professional playing career is relatively short and for most players is over by their early thirties. It could also be interrupted or cut short by injury. As a Football League, Premiership or Women's Super League player and a member of the Professional Footballers Association (PFA), you can get advice and guidance on educational and vocational courses which will help you prepare for a second career. Coaching, sports science and fitness industry training are popular choices.

Reflection: I would really like to become a professional football player. I think this would be the ideal career for me because I like to stay active, play soccer, and have fun doing so.

“Goodness is the only investment that never fails.”
Henry David Thoreau

Reflection: This is true because you should always do god. When you do well you succeed you will never fail. The reason for this is because say you give food to a homeless person then good karma will come back to you. Bad karma won’t come to you because you are doing well not bad.

Student success statement
“It is our duty to concentrate all our influence to make popular that which is sound and good, and unpopular that which is unsound”
Joseph Smith

Reflection: this couldn't be any truer. I believe that you should only do well and always do what’s right. If it doesn't sound good then just get away and don’t do it. You never feel good if you do something bad. But you always feel spectacular when you do what is right and what sounds right. Just like this quote says only do what is good and not do what is bad. Always focus on good and never on bad if you focus on bad then will you go down a road that you will not like. That is why you must do well and go down a good road that you will love.
Home Health Aide
Duties and responsibilities: Home health aides typically do the following: Help clients in their daily personal tasks, such as bathing or dressing, Provide basic health-related services according to a client’s needs, such as checking vital signs or administering prescribed medication at scheduled times, Do light housekeeping, such as laundry, washing dishes, and vacuuming in a client’s home, Organize a client’s schedule and plan appointments, Arrange transportation to doctors’ offices or for other kinds of outings, Shop for groceries and prepare meals to a client’s dietary specifications, and Provide companionship. Home health aides, unlike personal care aides, typically work for certified home health or hospice agencies that receive government funding and therefore must comply with regulations. They work under the direct supervision of medical professionals, usually registered nurses. These aides keep records of services performed and of clients’ conditions and progress. They report changes in clients’ conditions to supervisors or case managers. Home health aides also work with therapists and other medical staff. Depending on their clients’ needs, home health aides may provide some basic health-related services, such as checking a client’s pulse, temperature, and respiration rate. They may also help with simple prescribed exercises and with giving medications. Occasionally, they change bandages or dressings, give massages, care for skin, or help with braces and artificial limbs. With special training, experienced home health aides also may help with medical equipment such as ventilators, which help clients breathe.
Salary: $16,600-$34,750
Education: Home health aides who work for agencies that receive reimbursement from Medicare or Medicaid must get a minimum level of training and pass a competency evaluation or receive state certification. Training includes learning about personal hygiene, reading and recording vital signs, infection control, and basic nutrition. Aides may take a competency exam to become certified without taking any training. These are the minimum requirements by law; additional requirements for certification vary by state. In some states, the only requirement for employment is on-the-job training, which employers generally provide. Other states require formal training, which is available from community colleges, vocational schools, elder care programs, and home health care agencies. In addition, states may conduct background checks on prospective aides. Home health aides can be certified by the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC). Although certification is not always required, employers prefer to hire certified aides. Certification requires 75 hours of training, observation and documentation of 17 skills demonstrating competency, and passing a written exam.

Reflection: I wouldn't like to become this because it is not the right job for me. I prefer working in the kitchen as I want to be a culinary artist so this wouldn't fit my preference.
