Duties and responsibilities: Select,
administer, and interpret psychological tests to assess intelligence,
aptitudes, abilities, or interests. Consult with other professionals to discuss
therapies, treatments, counseling resources, or techniques, and to share
occupational information. Refer clients to specialists or to other institutions
for non-counseling treatment of problems. Conduct research to develop or
improve diagnostic or therapeutic counseling techniques. Provide consulting
services to schools, social service agencies, and businesses. Advise clients on
how they could be helped by counseling.

Reflection: I believe this counseling
does not help people at all in any way. For the reason that it just gets into a
person’s mind and erases every memory that is causing pain. This is bad because
it doesn’t help it does the opposite because when say you got out of a bad
marriage you go to this type of therapy it then it erases everything that is
hurting you. What if that person comes back then you won’t be able to remember
them they would just be a stranger. Then what are you going to do. You need your
ups and downs in your life. Without them you are practically dead. Your life is
like a heart monitor without the ups and downs and those memories of those ups
and downs then you are dead.
