Reflection: I believe this counseling does not help people at all in any way. For the reason that it just gets into a person’s mind and erases every memory that is causing pain. This is bad because it doesn’t help it does the opposite because when say you got out of a bad marriage you go to this type of therapy it then it erases everything that is hurting you. What if that person comes back then you won’t be able to remember them they would just be a stranger. Then what are you going to do. You need your ups and downs in your life. Without them you are practically dead. Your life is like a heart monitor without the ups and downs and those memories of those ups and downs then you are dead.

“A good name is better than anything you can achieve in this life”
Mike Krzyzewski (couch K)

Reflection: It’s better because having a good name is going to affect your life in a positive way. While if you just have a championship then that is not going to affect you it just going to have a good thing in a newspaper and that’s it. It only last for a while but when you have a good name than that last forever throughout your whole life. You can develop a good name by doing good things and always choosing the right.
Columbus day

Columbus Day first became an official state holiday in Colorado in 1906, and became a federal holiday in the United States in 1937, though people have celebrated Columbus's voyage since the colonial period. In 1792, New York City and other U.S. cities celebrated the 300th anniversary of his landing in the New World. President Benjamin Harrison called upon the people of the United States to celebrate Columbus Day on the 400th anniversary of the event. During the four hundredth anniversary in 1892, teachers, preachers, poets and politicians used Columbus Day rituals to teach ideals of patriotism. These patriotic rituals were framed around themes such as support for war, citizenship boundaries, the importance of loyalty to the nation, and celebrating social progress.my feelings are why does LAUSD not celebrate this holiday. Its a holiday and we are still in school. Why? I believe that they should change that so we don't come to school.
