Success Statement
An
Internal Phenomenon
“The
reward for doing right is mostly an internal phenomenon: Self-respect, dignity
(self-worth), integrity, and self-esteem.”
Dr. Laura Schlessinger
Reflection: This is true. I would say that
when you do good you feel great but when you do bad you feel terrible. For
example sometimes people get paid for doing wrong like stealing or killing
someone. Once they do that wrong and receive money or materialistic things,
they can’t help but to feel terrible inside sort of like the guilt is eating
them away. When a person does something good they already feel great so there
is no need for receiving a prize of any sort. If they do receive a prize they
most likely won’t want it because they don’t need it when they already feel
good.
