Reflection: This is very true. I believe that because it will be your chose to do right or wrong and you should always be right. When you do right it will impact you so always over think everything. 

Professional Guitarist

Duties and Responsibilities: Guitarist typically do the following: Perform music for live audiences and recordings, Audition for positions in orchestras, choruses, bands, and other types of music groups, Practice playing instruments or singing to improve their technique, Rehearse to prepare for performances, Find locations for performances or concerts, Travel, sometimes great distances, to performance venues, and Promote their careers by maintaining a website or social media presence or doing photo shoots and interviews. Guitarists play different varieties of music. To make themselves more marketable, many Guitarist become proficient in multiple musical styles. Guitarist play in bands, by themselves, or small groups. Those in bands may play at weddings, private parties, clubs, or bars while they try to build enough fans to get a recording contract or representation by an agent. Some musicians work as a part of a large group of musicians who must work and practice together, such as a band. A few musicians become section leaders, who may be responsible for assigning parts to other musicians or leading rehearsals. Others guitarists are “session” guitarist, who specialize in playing backup for a guitarist or band leader during recording sessions and live performances. Guitarists perform the strings in a variety of styles. Some specialize in a particular string style, such as death core or hardcore; others perform in a variety of musical genres.

Salary: $23.50-$65.24 per hour.

Education: There are no post secondary education requirements for those interested in performing popular music. Many guitarist of classical music and hardcore have a bachelor’s degree in music theory or performance. To be accepted into one of these programs, applicants are typically required to submit recordings or audition in person, and sometimes must do both. Undergraduate music programs teach students about music history and styles and teach methods for improving their instrumental techniques and musical expression. Some guitarists choose to continue their education by pursuing a master’s degree in fine arts or music.

     

Reflection: I would really like to be a guitarist in a band because it seems fun and exciting. Also I would like to be in a band as a guitarist because you win lots of money and you get to travel everywhere.

Whenever someone sneezes, you say “Bless you” or hear someone else say these words.

                People say bless you when someone sneezes because it is believed that when someone sneezes there is a sickness coming to them. This originates from a thousand years ago when people use to say Jupiter preserve you. They said this because it meant good health, this started in the bubonic plague people thought that sneezing was a symptom of this. This saying originated from Germany when the Pope said that it was because of sneezing people was getting sick.

Environmental Health Specialist

Duties and responsibilities: Environmental scientists and specialists typically do the following: Determine data collection methods for research projects, investigations, and surveys, Collect and compile environmental data from samples of air, soil, water, food, and other materials for scientific analysis, Analyze samples, surveys, and other information to identify and assess threats to the environment, Develop plans to prevent, control, or fix environmental problems, such as land or water pollution, Provide information and guidance to government officials, businesses, and the general public on possible environmental hazards and health risks, and Prepare technical reports and presentations that explain their research and findings. Environmental scientists and specialists analyze environmental problems and develop solutions. For example, many environmental scientists and specialists work to reclaim lands and waters that have been contaminated by pollution. Others assess the risks that new construction projects pose to the environment and make recommendations to governments and businesses on how to minimize the environmental impact of these projects. Environmental scientists and specialists may do research and provide advice on manufacturing practices, such as advising against the use of chemicals that are known to harm the environment.

Salary: $34,750-$95,460

Education: For most entry-level jobs, environmental scientists and specialists must have a bachelor’s degree in environmental science or a science-related field, such as biology, chemistry, physics, geosciences, or engineering. However, a master’s degree may be needed for advancement. Environmental scientists and specialists who have a doctoral degree make up a small percentage of the occupation, and this level of training is typically needed only for the relatively few postsecondary teaching and basic research positions. A bachelor’s degree in environmental science offers a broad approach to the natural sciences. Students typically take courses in biology, chemistry, geology, and physics. Students often take specialized courses in hydrology, waste management, and fluid mechanics as part of their degree as well. Classes in environmental policy and regulation are also beneficial. Students who want to reach the Ph.D. level and have a career in academia or as an environmental scientist doing basic research may find it advantageous to major in a more specific natural science such as chemistry, biology, physics, or geology, rather than the broader environmental science degrees. Students should look for opportunities, such as classes and internships, which allow for work with computer modeling, data analysis, and geographic information systems. Students with experience in these programs will be the best prepared to enter the job market.

Reflection: this is very true because if you in bad company you do terrible things and always do bad things but if you are alone then you can do good things. For example if you were with bad company then you would do drugs or get in trouble but if you were alone then you could study or read a book and maybe help someone else in need. In reality you don't need to be with people you can always be alone. Although being alone is not all that great you sometimes accomplish more alone than when your with a group of friends. For example if you’re with a group of friends and they are good ones that great except you're not always going to do what you want. Say you want to stay for tutoring during lunch or you want to turn in a paper. You can’t always do that because maybe one of your other friends doesn't want to do that so all of you have to agree with something. That thing your friends and you agree with might not be what you best wanted.
